Individual Therapy
After receiving an initial assessment, we may recommend individual or couples therapy, depending on the presenting issues. We offer online and in-person individual therapy. The severity of the issue and the level of need determine the course of treatment. Individual sessions are 45 - 50 minutes in length.
At Recovery Help Now, Inc., we are proud to offer individual therapy services in a supportive and inclusive environment that celebrates diversity. Our experienced therapists are LGBTQIA-affirmative and dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals from all ethnicities, identities, cultures, and backgrounds. We understand that seeking support is a significant step, and we strive to create a safe space where you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings.
In individual therapy, you will engage in one-on-one sessions that build upon the foundation established during your initial assessment. While the assessment gathers information about your background and challenges, individual therapy allows for a deeper exploration of these topics. Together with your therapist, you'll work collaboratively to identify your unique concerns and set meaningful goals, creating a personalized plan tailored to your needs. Each session serves as a new chapter in your journey, enabling you to continuously assess your progress and make any necessary adjustments along the way.
Expect open, honest conversations that foster self-discovery and growth. Your therapist will help you identify patterns that may be holding you back and provide you with effective tools and strategies to manage life’s challenges. Sessions may include processing past experiences, addressing current stressors, or developing coping skills for the future. With ongoing support, you will be empowered to make meaningful progress at your own pace, breaking free from limiting behaviors and confidently moving toward your emotional and personal aspirations. We look forward to walking this journey of healing and growth with you!
Note: Please keep in mind that online services aren’t for everyone. We use our best clinical judgment to determine who is appropriate to receive online services through the assessment process. We may modify or discontinue online services if we find them ineffective. If this issue arises, you will be offered a face-to-face office visit or a referral.
