Any information shared in a therapeutic setting is confidential and cannot be given out without your written permission.  There are three exceptions to confidentiality, once you’ve become a client: a plan to endanger yourself, endanger another person, or if there is any abuse to a child or elder.

RHN does not share or give out your person or billing information to any list brokers or marketing companies. You may contact us by phone or email if you have questions regarding confidentiality.

Yes. We provide individual, couples and group therapy for partners.  Services are educational, supportive, and confidential. We can locate and suggest referrals for additional services in your area.

RHN provides you the ability to pay for treatment online through this website for your convenience.  Payment is expected prior to or upon receiving services (assessments, individual sessions, and special events).  Group Therapy payments are due on the 1^st of every month for the entire month.  We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, and checks.  You must pay for online services through this website prior to your appointment.

Yes.  You may schedule for either online or in-person therapy.  If your symptoms increase or change, your therapist may recommend you switch from online to in-person therapy.  You may be offered in-person therapy or be referred to someone in your local area.  We can only provide therapeutic services to those who live in the state of California.  We may ask to see your identification or request a copy to verify who you are and confirm you’re a resident of California.

Yes.  You are welcome to conduct an initial assessment to evaluate if our groups are a good fit for you.  You may request to receive an assessment.  You may be asked to attend 3 – 5 individual sessions prior to entering a group in order to prepare for the experience.  These sessions are not duplicate individual sessions and are not meant to replace your already existing individual therapy.

We accept some insurance policies.  You will need to call your insurance provider and find out if we are a provider on the panel.  If not, we can accept a PPO insurance company.  As an out-of-network provider, you will be expected to pay for treatment in full upon service and we will provide you a super bill to send to your insurance company so you can be reimbursed by your insurance provider. You must inform us in advance if you’d like to use insurance for services prior to receiving them. Some services insurance will not cover. You will need to check with your policy before using your insurance.  We don’t accept insurance for all services.  Ultimately you are responsible for your bill.

It all depends on the severity of the issue.  After receiving an initial assessment, you will receive treatment recommendations.  This will give you an idea how long therapy is recommended.  We provide both crisis management and short-term therapy.  We encourage clients to address the issues that brought them to therapy and once issues are addressed therapy can end.  Clients are welcome to leave therapy and return at anytime for “tune-ups,” or for additional support.
