How to Prepare for the Fall Season & Stay Motivated

Are you ready for the fall season? Are you ready to battle the winter blues? No matter where you live, you have an ongoing relationship with your weather. Consider how your life shifts as the seasons shifts.  There are many triggers that may affect your mood and motivation. Do you have a hard time staying motivated because it gets darker earlier, like it does me? Motivation and consistency are the key components to being successful to the goals you set out to accomplish.

1. Prepare your home for the change in weather. Pull out the couch throws and decorate accordingly. Keep the lights lit bright.

2. Continue to exercise. When it’s cold out, add extra layers to stay warm while working out outside. Find a friend to workout with so you can motivate each other. Or find an activity indoors that you love.

3. Dress for the season. Dressing for the season will definitely help you feel motivated. Pull out your favorite sweater that you’ve been longing to wear all summer long.

4. Evaluate your mood. Think about the coming season and how it will affect your mood to prepare.
